Kaveh Waddell is the AI and robotics reporter at Axios, where he writes for the daily Future newsletter. He writes on a wide variety of subjects under this umbrella, including reports on ethics and bias in AI, questions on the impact of machine decision-making on humans, technology regulations and policy, and applying AI and robotics to solve humanitarian issues.
Previously, Waddell has worked as a foreign correspondent in Beirut, reported on privacy and surveillance at The Atlantic, and written about tech policy at National Journal. He is based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
